Mentoring To Accelerate Progress and Success
M.A.P.S.
Bridging the gap, building community.
About
Mentoring to Accelerate Progress and Success (M.A.P.S.) is a tailored year-long mentorship experience for communications and public relations professionals who are underrepresented in industry leadership.
A strategic collaboration between the Page Society and the Diversity Action Alliance (DAA), M.A.P.S. has engaged 400+ participants since its inception in 2022, with four core goals:
M.A.P.S. is barrier-free for mentees at any stage of their communications career journey, from student to professional with 15+ years of experience, meaning it is zero-cost, with no paid membership or affiliations required, incorporates flexible arrangements for mentor-mentee lifestyle and needs, and guarantees an executive mentor from the esteemed Page and Page Up Membership.
Bridge the opportunity and access gap by expanding the networks of mentors and mentees.
Facilitate mutually beneficial mentor-mentee relationships that are likely to extend beyond the one-year time frame of the M.A.P.S. program.
Inspire and equip mentees to stay, grow, and thrive in the industry.
Illuminate distinct barriers faced by mentees and inspire mentors to advocate for change inside their own spheres of influence.
