Today, we announce the 2026 Diversity Action Alliance Board of Directors and a strategy centered on Collective Power.
If the Advisory Council represents insight and challenge, the Board represents governance and direction.
This group steps forward at a time when leadership representation is being debated, redefined, and in some cases rolled back. That reality requires steadiness. It requires experience. It requires leaders who understand both the business and cultural stakes of this work.
Our 2026 Board spans agencies, corporations, academia, advocacy, and media. Together, they will guide DAA’s role as a convener, a listener, and an accountability anchor for the communications profession.
This is not a symbolic body.
It is responsible for the health, focus, and long-term viability of this organization.
Today also marks one year since DAA became an independently incorporated nonprofit. Independence gave us the ability to set our own agenda. This Board strengthens our ability to deliver on it.
