Highwire Public Relations seek Public Relations Digital Strategist

We are looking for a digital strategist to join our growing team and help develop and deliver programs and campaigns on behalf of some of the biggest brands in the technology space. This is a hands-on and varied role where you will be responsible for creating excellent content, managing social channels, engaging with influencers and executing paid content amplification.

You will be working as part of the digital team and a key member of a number of account teams. Every day you will demonstrate your command of language with excellent copywriting, translating technical topics for social channels and demonstrating an understanding of audiences when writing for client objectives. You will be curious and experimental, hungry to learn about new digital marketing trends or ways to reach and engage audiences that matter to clients.

The digital landscape is ever-changing and we expect you to explore, constantly: New online communities, new pockets of influencers, and new paid branding opportunities or tactics.

You are interested in trying new ways to measure program effectiveness (website traffic, lead gen, etc.), based on the marketing objectives of the clients. Working in close contact with digital strategy leadership, digital strategists will execute programs that connect key client messages to target audiences in creative ways.

Responsibilities:

●  Manage execution of digital client programs

●  Review and analyze data across owned, earned and social channels to inform

strategy

●  Social media copywriting and publishing, management of influencers, management

of digital content creation

●  Content amplification recommendations and paid social campaign development

●  Community management, including social media monitoring and audience

engagement tactics

●  Measurement of program impact aligned to client objectives

●  Demonstrate understanding of digital campaign process from start to finish

●  Research

●  Insight building

●  Channel considerations

●  Content creation

●  Execution/activation

●  Measurement

●  Develop expertise across a range of digital program disciplines, including:

●  Insights & Analytics

●  Social media management Influencer relations

●  Content marketing & marketing automation

●  SEM

●  SEO

●  Email marketing

●  Paid social advertising

● Ability to identify new digital tactics and opportunities for clients to reach program goals

Agency Operations

●  Participation in new business process including research and presenting at pitch

●  Identify, attend and encourage others to attend networking events

●  Maintain a respectful, enthusiastic, and professional attitude towards coworkers,

clients, and outside colleagues and lead team by example

●  Support teams and manage up and down

●  Responsible use of flexible work policies

●  Uses Highwire social channels; writes for Highwire blog

●  Mentor junior staff to elevate development

Self Development

●  Proactively set up quarterly goals with manager; track against goals and

demonstrate growth

●  Effectively prioritize responsibilities based on impact, timelines, workflow and client

goals

●  Drive projects forward independently, eliminating the need for managers to

consistent check in re: follow through/ task completion

●  Identify areas for self-improvement and bring suggestions and solutions to

management

●  Consistently hit deadlines or give enough notice if you won’t

●  Attends regular networking events
