Senior Vice President - Technology Practice, Tier One Partners

Tier One Partners’ ideal candidate is a roll-up-their-sleeves do-er with 11+ years of experience in PR and earned media. You’ll bring a deep understanding of B2B enterprise technology including experience in industries including security, data analytics, and cloud/SaaS. This position is based out of our Chicago office.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

A successful Senior Vice President is someone who can:

• Provide expert client counsel that significantly benefits a client’s business and reputation.

• Build and maintain outstanding client relationships, taking a hands-on approach. 

• Offer strong guidance and counsel to team members and clients.

• Recruit, train, motivate, mentor, guide, and nurture team members at various stages in their PR career.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the tech landscape and trends impacting clients and competitors. 

• Possess outstanding media relations skills that are reflected in strategic counsel you provide to clients and the team.

• Oversee and maintain client budgets, including team hours and capacity, to ensure minimum overservicing. 

• Exemplify a culture of collaboration and “we own this” mentality.

• Be an integral part of new business (development, strategy, pitching, onboarding), including identifying organic growth opportunities with existing clients.
