Director, North America and Integrated Supply Chain Communications

Whirlpool Corporation is looking for a Director of Communications to support the President of their North American Region. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in strategic communications, strong influencing skills, and a minimum of 5 years of high-level project management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

A successful Director of Chain Communications is someone who can:

• Lead the NAR/ISC Team to help shape the efforts of various departments to address strategic initiatives and other critical issues

• Collaborate with key partners and the team, develop communications strategy and tactics that enhance, support, and drive the company’s key priorities

• Develop and disseminate internal communications and programs, leveraging internal communication platforms such as the company intranet site and other channels in support of the global communication plan

• Direct or personally manage highly sensitive, confidential projects and provide counsel on communication or corporate strategic matters

• Collaborate with the leadership team to manage the company events calendar, develop content and presentations for corporate functions, operations updates, and leadership team meetings

• Establish and monitor benchmark data and criteria to measure the effectiveness of global communication initiatives

• Manage the flow of content for NAR and ISC events to ensure consistent and coordinated delivery of business and event messages

• Lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of continuous growth and collaboration through strategic hiring, impactful coaching, effective performance management, and targeted development initiatives, culminating in a high-performing, cohesive team environment
